Family and friends are mourning the death of a man who was allegedly stabbed outside a property, while two teenagers were arrested by police over the incident.
Seb O’Halloran was allegedly stabbed outside the home in Limpidi Drive, Mildura, about 540 kilometers northwest of Melbourne, about 1.05am on Saturday.
Paramedics quickly arrived on scene, but the 18-year-old could not be saved.
Mr O’Halloran is believed to live in the suburb of Irymple, about three miles south-east of Mildura.
Victoria police have arrested a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man following the man’s death.
The pair from Mildura are assisting police with their investigation.
No charges have been filed.
Police claim the 17-year-old girl and the other man were known to Mr O’Halloran, but there are no details of how the incident happened.
Friends paid tribute to Mr O’Halloran on social media, with many saying he was ‘loved by the community’.
Friend Eric Wolfe wrote on Instagram that “no amount of time spent with you could ever have been enough.”
‘I will do my best for you every day, I love you Seb.’
Another friend, Damon Burke, said Mr O’Halloran was like an “older brother”.
“I love you so much husband,” he said.
“I will forever be grateful to have known (sic) someone as funny, hardworking and loving as you.”
“Fly high brother, wishing you all the best up there,” another friend wrote.
